will I have difficulty finding a room?

My resale for BLT just closed and should have my points in the next week or so. it will be 6 months out and We need a room for Dec 10-Dec 15. I'll have enough points for a 1BR if need be. Will I have trouble getting a 1BR at any resort? would Anyone with access to the availabily tool be able to check to see what I can expect? much appreciated. THanks

Beginning of December is the busiest time for DVC usage

the only chance may be SSR or OKW 1BR

Agree that the only places with full availability is SSR, OKW and then the bungalows at Poly but they are sooo expensive pointwise.

If you dont mind doing a split stay, you should be able to piece together all days.

Another set of options could be to:

1. Book the days you can, and then rent the rest from Disney at the same resort.
2. Rent a confirmed vacation, and then rent your own points.
3. a combination of 1+2

thanks. yeah it will be 3 adults so we aren't opposed to a split stay as long as it 3-2, we don't want 2-2-1. That is a good idea if we can't get what we want that we should rent and pay cash at a resort

I wouldn't expect points for at least 30 days, and If you mean rooms for this December 2017, I would say no way unless you will take a day here, a day or 2 there...

I agree it might be a challenge for those dates. If you're okay with a split stay, you very well may luck out. We were initially planning a visit around the same time (started to plan way too late due to another cancelled trip), but opted for late November (after the holiday) and had more success. Good luck!

You should be OK for OKW/SSR but you'll likely have to wait list. You should be able to piece together 5 nights in a 1 BR with the WL. Once you have something you can WL for something better if you want.
