will i get ent rate for feb.

hi

What i want to know is, how likely would it be to get a discounted rate for a universal hotel for feb. i called yest. and the guy told me that it was to early for ent. rate, a. p. etc, and they would not be out until oct- nov time. but in american this is the holiday season.
Im guessing that if i book now and when the time comes, if they are full then there won't be no reduced rates.

Don't know specifically about Entertainment Rates, but what I normally do is to make a provisional booking at the regular rate then if a dicounted rate becomes available (AP, code, Ent Rate, etc) cancel my first booking and make a new booking at the discounted rate. This way you are guaranteed a room for the dates you need, but you still are able to take advantage of any discounts that become available.

Sam - have you checked out the Univesal Resorts page on the boards? I'm sure there was something about Feb rates a few days ago. Always worth checking those pages as you can pick up some great info
