You can book two separate sets of FP's, 3 rides for you and your son and 3 different rides for your wife and your daughter... then just keep letting your son use your daughter's band, and he can go on 6 different rides two times each (once with each parent) using rider swap... assuming your daughter doesn't catch on to the fact that she's doing nothing while everyone else is having the time of their lives breezing through the fast pass line at her expense.
We have 6 in our party this year, 3 of which most likely won't do the big rides. We figure that we will probably do this a few times. It's not a big deal to switch bands for the FP+'s. Go, have fun, swap MB's
A related question - at Christmas time I went with my son and my sister-in-law. Unfortunately her account was MANAGED by her husband ( don't do that except for young children!!) so I couldn't make fast pass res. for her with us. I called 3 times to try to clear this up and finally a CM suggested she just bring her husband's band - whom I could link with! So we did that - even though his pass wasn't scanned at the gate, his FP+ passes on the band worked and she just pretended Bob was short for Bobbie
Now - I'm going again. Does this trick still work??
When FP was first introduced at DL you could use old tickets or APs not scanned at the gate to get extras. They finally shut that down. You think they would have remembered this trick!
