Question-

My mom has some tickets for Universal that are from I think '95....they have never been used, and I'm trying to figure out how they would translate in the current market. We used some old disney tickets she had a few years ago, and they let us convert them in "current" ticket media that was equivalent...multiday park hoppers, but they did NOT work at AK as they were BEFORE that park was open.
So, what do you guys think? What type of value am i going to be able to convert this too? keep in mind, this would have been pre-islands of adventure. That being said, will i even be able to convert them to anything, or apply them to any kind of upgrade?? Thoughts, comments, suggestions are welcome and appreciated! :o)

Your best bet is to call Guest Services at Universal...they will probably ask you to fax them a copy of the tickets so they can see if the tickets are still good.

Just an FYI for anyone having a similar question...talked to someone in Guest Services today. They DO NOT verify tickets over the phone OR through faxes anymore. He did say that tickets from that far back generally do not expire, but he could not guess how much more we would have to pay at the window. Now I'm worried about how exactly we are going to take care of this. I had planned on checking into PB early early Mon morning so we could take advantage of the early entry for hotel guests, but now I worry that this could take up more time than is going to be good to get us a good spot. Another option I suppose is to go by the ticket windows when we get into Sunday night, but then I'm going to have to pay to park right?? Arghhhh...how come nothing is ever easy?? lol...

I think your best bet is go on Sunday night, pay the $3.00 dollars of parking (after 6pm) and get that sorted so you can enjoy early park entry.

hmm...didnt know parking was $3 after 6...i guess i can live with that...thanks for the advice!! :)
