I love my big Graco stroller! I bought a Peg Perego (sp?) Plinko lite and daughter hates it for some reason. It also has very little storage. The graco is big with cup holders, storage, great sun shade, ect. Will I be able to get it on a bus or monorail?
It is a Graco Quatro stroller.

Yes! I took my big double stroller years ago - Peg Perego one. It was a bit of a pain to fold up and lug onto the busses, but then we were so glad to have it! The monorail is no problem, since you just push the stroller onto it. Same with the big boats (like the ones between the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin, and Epcot), just push it onboard.

I think you will be happy to have it with you. We brought a full size stroller with us many years - first the double, then a single they shared, now finally we're done with them.

sure you can.. just be prepared and have it folded before you get to the bus door. And hang on tight to it on the bus ride. If it looks like the buss will be standing room only step aside and wait for the next bus.

We wont take big stoller. I left my graco duo glide home and took 2 umbrella strollers. So much easier.

Yep, we took our Graco last year. It worked fine, we just had to fold it up whenever we were on the buses. I loved having it at the parks though because we had cup holders, storage space for bags, etc.

You absolutely can bring your Quattro :thumbsup2 It will fir fine on the bus as long as it is folded up. Also, if your child is happier in the bigger stroller than always bring what makes them happy. I know personally if I brought a stroller than my DS didn't enjoy then the whole vacation I would have to deal with a fussy child.

I recently bought a Baby Trend lite and have been using it regularly with my 2 year old to get ready for our trip in October. He sits in it for about 5 minutes then escapes. But when I have my Graco Quattro with me he sits back and makes himself comfy. So the baby trend will be left behind and the Quattro is coming along.

Hey! I just wanted to add my support of, yes, you can take your "full size" stroller. We've done everything...taken a little Combi (great for transporting in buses, etc, but not so good with pushing. It's so short!), a Jeep 3 wheel (decent to push, wheel takes up WAY too much room when folded), and our Graco Quattro Tour double. That was the way to go! No problems with buses, monorails, etc. We found that it's better to have a bigger basket on those suckers than to worry about what size it is when you fold it up. Granted, that's with two little folk now, but it still holds true! Plus my DD told me that we're taking that one; it has the best seat. lol... :rotfl:

Anyway, good luck with your decision! Just wanted to add my $0.02!! :goodvibes

One more thing to add:

My kids used to fall asleep in the stroller all the time at Disney! Even when they weren't napping at home regularly, all that fresh air just wiped them out. When they were in the full size Peg Perego, at almost 3 and 5 (a few months shy) they would both take a really nice nap in it in the afternoon! I remember finding a nice shady spot then, and DH and I had a cool beer and relaxed (most memorable was at the Bawa Bar in AKL one afternoon). When the older one woke up, we got him a sprite, and just waited for the younger one to wake up.

They wouldn't have napped in a little stroller probably, and they could have a nice recline and more room.

It was really worth it!

Plus, the stroller pushing felt like a nice workout!

I definitely think bringing your own full size one is worth it for the napping. We didn't have to worry about getting back to the room for a rest (although we all usually need a bit of a rest at some point during the afternoon anyway!).

Yes you can take it.I will be the dissenter here though.I hated trying to fold and load onto busses. Most of the time my niece wanted to stay in her stroller till the very last second and then me and sil would be scrambling to fold while sweating like farm animals and getting the hairy eyeball and rude comments from everyone else. The following year we used an umbrella stroller. She still fell asleep in it, and it was much much easier to deal with on the busses.

Thank you for all the great support! I really want to take my full sized stroller! It is so comfortable for her and us alike. The Plinko is weird to push around. I am only 5'5 and DH is not much taller. We feel really tall when we puch this thing. Bad on the back, you are always kicking the wheels and no storage. We pack our lunch everywhere we go so we need some storage space. I like to have everything I need in the stroller.

Our double Graco has gone four times. Here's a hint. When the driver opens the doors to get on, you go with the kids and ask him to open the handicap door. Your DH then gets on with the stroller and keeps the stroller right there next to the rear door. That way there is no walking through the aisles with it.

I've never had an issue with my big stroller, but I will say that for the first time we will only be taking a single stroller!!!

I don't have a Graco but a Chicco Cortina and have brought it to WDW a few times. We never did the busses but the tram from the parking lot was my tough spot. It was never very difficult ... just having to take most stuff out of the basket to fold it was a pain but I don't know if you have to do that with theGraco.

I was glad to see this post. I was wondering the same thing. We have a single Graco stroller, but it is still pretty big folded up. I have to take it though. We bought a smaller umbrella stroller for Seaworld and it was so uncomfortable to push. I'm 6'1 and the handle was just too low. The umbrella strollers aren't as comfortable for my daughter or have as much storage. I know the folding up won't be fun, but I think we'll be really glad we have the big one when at the parks. I say GO FOR IT big stroller families. Ignore any nasty looks people may give you. Comfort is more important.:flower3:
