Haha, and I didn't even buy it for myself! A friend gave it to us as a souvenir from her trip this year. I know, I know, I'm such a terrible DIS'er.

At least you've kept it and display it. That's a nice friend!

Last after Xmass sale I got some HOT PINK sparkly ribbon really cheap
So whenever I wrapped the young ladies presents this December-I used it on my red/green Christmas paper-it really stood out LOL!

I am just shocked that this is a "thing". Coordinating your wrapping paper to your ornaments. Huh. I literally can't imagine being concerned about that.

Putting aside wrapping paper/ornaments haven't you ever picked something up thinking it would go well with your decor then got it home and realized that it didn't?

That's exactly what happened - it looked red in the store and when I got it home it was more pink.

I didn't mean to get everyone all in an uproar in asking a return question. Don't worry I gave it away! I never imagined people would judge my lifestyle and my concern over decor rather than mementos which my children made (yes they are on the tree too). But as I said in an earlier post, my mother in law made all my handmade ornaments for me many years ago in a color theme, and they mean the world to my family, so I do like to coordinate. I am really surprised how people can make so many assumptions from a simple question and are so quick to think of mean comments.
