Will hotel transfer luggage?

After much deliberation over staying at the Yacht Club or Contemporary, we are now considering splitting our stay. Will the hotel transfer our luggage upon checkout. We're thinking of staying at the Contemporary first for four days and then moving over to the YC for four.

Yes

as long as you are transferring between WDW hotels they will do this no problem!! Just call bell services to come get your bags when you check out of the first hotel and tell them you need them transferred to the second one and when you check into the second hotel they will retrieve your bags for you and have them brought to your room

Thanks. Looks like we may end up splittingnour stay. Hate the thought of moving, but if they transfer the bags it won't be that bad. Has anyone had any problems with doing this?

Yes they do it free of charge but usually Tipping applies as it always would when doing anything with luggage. also the transfers are normally around 3 pm. so if you expect to need something before then keep in a small bag you have with you.

yea, they always expect a tip. and with my disney experiences...they usually deserve it.
