Will getting ADR's get any better???

I have been reading about those of you having a tough time getting the ADR's you want for the beginning of free dining. We are going Sept 19-26th.
When we went Labor Day week in 2007, I don't remember having a hard time getting ADR's. Is this just because it is the beginning of free dining and maybe people are trying to visit Disney before their schools start? I hope this gets a little bit better for the time frame we are going to be there.

We are very flexible with our times (no kids). Ohana is a must do and I will take whatever time I can get. I want to try Le Cellier (again, any time will be fine), but will be ok if we have to do without that one.

I am going to call 90 days out at 7:00am and will keep trying on other days if I have to.

My guess is that everyone wants to have a last summer 'hurrah' before getting back to the 'daily grind' so to speak and the few weeks of FD before Labor Day will be supremely hectic.

Once Labor Day is over, and kids are back in school, I expect to see a major slow down. Parents don't like taking their kids out of school so early in the year, so there wont' be nearly as many families going.

I, however, have no qualms about taking my DD out of school 2 weeks into the year--it's still a new year, they are just getting 'warmed up' so to speak and it's not like she's missing much (as opposed to taking her out near the END of the year when there's lots of projects and tests).

I have my fingers crossed that I will get all ADRs I want (I'm pretty flexible with times) b/c it is slow at this time of year (we are going 9/8 - 9/16).

I could be wrong but I think it is already better. I made my ADR's today and had no problems. There seemed to be little complaints from people who booked today (at least compared to the past week). I don't think the system crashed, I didn't hear about people waiting an hour only to be told to call back and I know I for one got all my first choices including 'Ohana at 6:45pm.

And positive ones at that!!!

I haven't ever had trouble getting ADR's as long as I called several months out.

We are going to try for Le Cellier if we can get it. (Never been there before). We always want Chef Mickey breakfast, Sci-Fi Lunch, Ohana Dinner.

My date to call is June 21st. I will be up at 6:00am and ready to call!! (We are 1 hr ahead)
