Will EPU from RPR work with base tickets?

Newbie here trying to plan a last minute trip 3/21-25 for me, DH, and 10 year old son. Will be in parks 3 full days. Crowd calendar is 10/10 so it seems I'll have to shell out for EP one way or another.

If I book the Royal Pacific through the Loews site and then buy the 3 day basic park tickets from Undercover Tourist, will that work?

Or do the unlimited express passes only work with the park-to-park tickets?

Express is tied to your deluxe hotel stay. So yes, whatever ticket you decide to purchase, you will have unlimited express for staying at RPR.

However, do remember that without at least 1 day park to park, you can't ride the Hogwarts Express train.
