I have not spent New Years Eve at Universal the last 2 years. The last time I did, the Studios did have fireworks (awesome display too) and all the years prior to that they did as well. They use to have a small NYE party, gave our hats, blowers, live band over by Mel's, etc.. I have not heard anything about that for this year. Has anyone? I do know the last few 4th of July's they have not had fireworks (which really blows my mind.. no fireworks on the 4th :confused3). I am spending NYE at Universal with my DD, her BF, my sister and her family.. and possibly some friends of mine (not sure if they can make it). I was just wondering if they are going to have their "party"..and I do mean the parks, not City Walk... TIA :goodvibes

I did check my AP newsletter and there is nothing in there.. so it is leading me to think the answer is no.....

thanks..that is what I was thinking too.. I hate to say this, but if it weren't for my family, I would head over to (shhhh) the "other" theme park for NYE since I know they are having a fireworks display there ;) but my DD, her BF, my sister and her family all have only Universal passes... so that is where we will be..:goodvibes

Yeah...I know what you mean. Universal needs to step their holiday game up.

I just dont get why they aren't having a count down for NYE (yet they are open late) or why no fireworks on the 4th of July????? That is like having summer without baseball :goodvibes

Is there some restriction since they are in the middle of a residential neighbourhood?
