I just made ressies with them last week, first time, and I hope they can get me the Fl. Residents Discount for Port Orleans! Will they? Should I E-Mail them?

They are very good about getting codes. Did you let them know your are looking for a Fl. residence code.

You should always let them know exactly what kind of code you are looking for. I would e-mail your agent and let her/him know you are looking for a Fl. resident code. When word starts to trickle out that Disney is about to release codes I always e=mail my agent just to let her know that this might be a code for me depending on how many days I'm staying. Usually our e-mails cross.

I have a ressie with DU for Dec., and received no E mail from them about an AP rate, so I went ahead and booked it on my own. I am very dissappointed with them. I'll have to check my E mail again and see if they've gotten an AP rate for me yet!

Dreams has always been very good about procurring and switching my rates to AP (when and if available). I do always e-mail when I get a heads up on impending codes, but my agent (Beth E.) is great and I always use Dreams to book my non-DVC stays. You may want to e-mail your agent and don't be surprised, if you mentioned on your profile that you were an AP holder, that he/she has already changed it for you. With the volume that they handle on a day like today it may be a day or two until they get back to you.

Faith - I originally had DU book us at ASMo at rack rate - $87 (preferred view). Last week I called CRO myself and got a AAA discount at CBR - $106.40 - 20% off rack rate (DU doesn't do AAA discounts). I transferred the ressie to DU and Cathy got me the AP rate this morning - $89 - 40% off rack rate. (All prices are pre-tax.) My CBR ressie wasn't even officially transferred over to DU yet and I still got the AP discount. I was soooo happy!

P.S. I got my tooth fixed without too much damage to the checking account. But it's a good thing I got the great discount on CBR.

My WONDERFUL Dreams agent, Liz, got me AP discounts this morning. I have booked with Dreams for many trips now, and they have been wonderful each time.
