Hi! I was wondering if there is any place in Disneyland that will ship my purchases to my home for me. We are flying and space as well as breakage are an issue. Thank you!
DL used to ship packages for free if you purchased with an AMEX card, but I don't think they've done that for a while. Your hotel might be able to help you with shipping, if the parks don't do it. And there is a Post Office about 5 minutes west of the parks on Ball Rd. that can help you with boxes, packing materials, and posting.
Yes, may of the stores in DL will ship your purchases home and they just add the cost of UPS shipping. Not sure about shopping at different stores then shipping all at once...the news stand next to City Hall would be the place to inquire about that possibility.
They will gladly ship each purchase, at the time of purchase. If you want to consolidate a bunch of stuff and have it shipped, the hotel business centers will take care of that for you (but the service is not cheap).
I brought a bunch of ornaments over the Thanksgiving holiday and after a long debate, it turned out that they will not ship personalized purchases home due to they do want want to be responsible for anything that breaks.
As other PP's have said - the DLR hotels will ship but it's pretty expensive. I would download the Disney Shop app and keep track of what you want and order from the app.
I'm not sure if the parks will do it, but USPS does pick ups. So if you pack your souvenirs and print out a shipping label online. There's a section that you can fill out for them to pick up the package so you don't have to go to the post office. There's no extra fee for this. But double check if they will pick up at your hotel though or if the hotel will allow it. T
You can take a couple of the USPS flat rate boxes along and fill those for shipping. You can actually buy stamps worth enough to cover the postage. But you'd need to bring packing tape along as well. Then if you are staying at one of the DLR hotels, they will likely accept them at the front desk to mail for you. I did this several times staying at a resort at WDW. But flat rate is the best way to go so you don't have to weigh and print a label.
The offer shipping. At Disneyland we came across many CMs that would claim it wasn't offere when there was a great big sign that said can't take it home let us ship it. It is probably because shipping is a time consuming process for them. When we were in DL is August they were running a free shipping promotion at most in park stores.

We were there during the promotion (read about it on the DIS) but didn't use it. I'm always in too much of a hurry to want to wait while they write it up. I also leave extra space in my bag now to take things home.
