Will disneyland have any specials on accomodation for october?

Hi there we are a family from Australia and went to disneyland last year in June. We loved it soooooooooooo much we are returning this year. We are going to Florida this time to disneyworld. But thought on our way back we would visit disneyland for a couple of nights prior to our long flight home from LAXLooking at the disneyland website, the accomodation looks more expensive in October than in June (due to there specials). Does anyone have any insight? I would greatly appreciate any advice, other wise it looks like we might have to stay across the road. Many Thanks

I'd suggest you change the title to Disneyland not disneyworld.

As far as discounts maybe but maybe not. In October they have a special program going for halloween this makes things fairly busy on those days. Also Disney is trying to discontinue discounts. Also the Disneyland hotel will close down a lot of room for rehab. It's really hard to say because of these things what will happen this year.

If it doesn't look good you can always get a better rate on Harbor Dr. off property.

Thanks skiingfast, guess its just a case of wait and see. Because we most likely won't be back for a few years I thought it would be a lovely way to end the holiday staying on site. Just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope we can afford it.

If you are looking for an offsite hotel that's a 7 to 10 min walk to the parks, then HOJO's gives a 15% discount for DIS members. Might be out of luck for low rates in October...we got great rates for the end of September, but they really ramped up through October...

I'd say just keep checking on the offchance.

We will be there only for a few nights, from the 10th till the 13th. Unfortunately we won't have anyone over 60 with us. I tried the code R2 for the howard johnson and it was the same price with out it? Thanks for all your help guys.
