Will Disney send food/restaurant purchases back to our rooms?

Hello, I was just wondering if Disney will send food purchases back to our resort rooms for us? For example, if I bought a bunch of treats from Main St Bakery or Goofy's, would they do it, so I wouldn't have to carry it around all day or would I have to wait until the end of the day to get them?
I know they transport purchases for you but I didn't know if those were included...since Im on the topic, is that service complimentary for everyone? Thanks!!

I am pretty sure they don't transport food items, because I tried to do it once myself in the gift shop at Norway (I bought chocolate) and they advised me there that they couldn't. I don't know what others experiences have been though. And yes the service is complimentary, you just have to make sure you are not checking out in the 24 hours following the request, because it takes about a day to get to your room. That could be the reason too that they wouldn't take my food.

They will not transport food items- candy, etc. due to heat/damage issues.
