Will Disney move luggage for a split stay?

I may be remembering incorrectly (wouldn't be the first time!) but I thought I read on here that if you're doing a split stay, Disney will move the luggage. I'm a little worried about moving from CSR to POP. We have ADR's at Chef Mickey's pretty early on our "moving" day, and I wanted to go right to MK after we eat. Would I have to check out of CSR, take all of our luggage to POP, check in early and ask them to hold our luggage for us, all before breakfast? We're not early people!

We have done split stays a couple of times....simply pack your luggage day of check out from first resort and contact or drop off with Bell Services. They will transfer the luggage to your new resort.

We simply give our luggage to Bell Services and go to our park of that day and then return later in the day to our "new" resort, your luggage will be at the new resort (hopefully when you check in!).

Disney will move your luggage for you-just keep in mind the process takes a long time. Bell services picked up our luggage from AKL at 9:30am and it didn't get to the BC until after 6pm. Be sure to take a bathing suit with you if you plan to swim. We didn't and were waiting for what seemed like forever.

WDW will move your luggage from one WDW resort to another. When you have bell services take your bag you let them know that you would like your luggage transfered to POP. When you get to POP and check in to your room call bell services and they will bring your luggage to your room.

We are splitting between two resorts and will not be in the second resort until late that night. Do they assign your room during the day and take the luggage then or when you check in they carry your luggage then?

yes they will just set it up put it inside by the door ..call them..and go..no trouble go to the other resort and away you go

1) Yes, Disney will move your luggage.
2) It will be sent to the Luggage Room or Bell Services at the next resort.
3) However, this is done as a convenience to the guest.
4) Thus, is is done when there is manpower available.
5) The luggage can get to the new resort in 1-hr or 6-hrs or more.
6) Be patient, and it will arrive.

We're doing a split stay next week - one night at Pop then transferring to the Polynesian. I'll post how it goes.
