Will Disney Magic Bands - stop you from staying at a WDW resort ?

You have to stay at a WDW resort to get them.

Would you still stay in the S/D or DTD hotel or other non-Disney resort and not mind Not using or Not getting to use a Disney Magic Band ?

OR

Would you now only stay in a WDW resort to be given a or be able to use the new Magic Bands ?

I would love to know.

Don't care either way. We stay on property for the convenience of not having to drive and being able to travel easy from resort to park.
Don't really care about if they are tracking us and etc. We don't have lives that have to be so secretive and all and if someone wants to monitor us...then they enjoy the boredom.

It was nice last year to have RFIDs in the KTTW cards and on the room doors. No more fidgeting for the key to open your room door.

We hope the new bands are ready for use for our December trip, but if not then it will be no big deal.

Totally agree with all of this. We're also going in December and hope that the bands will be available.

There has been some discussion that FastPass as we know it will eventually go away with the advent of the MagicBands.
Hopefully, there will be other options to either wearing a MagicBand or standing in lines.

I will stay on property and I am looking forward to the bands and the tracking! It will help Disney evaluate what happens and what is happening now. It will allow them to improve the experience and even customise it for me!

We always stay on property and actually, are excited about the bands. Btw: Today is exactly ONE-YEAR out from our next trip! Ten days at BC Villas with the family!

I'm also very excited about the bands. We usually stay in a Disney Resort anyway simply for us it is a convenience and it enhances the "magic" for us. I feel like the bands will only further increase the convenience for my family and me. Even just having it on my wirst is easier then having to dig for it *epitomy of laziness right there* I hope they will be available for my 2014 trip!
