Will Disney ever add a 3rd water park at WDW?

Sounds good to me-- I'd love to see RC re opened as a DVC appendage. And more DVC adds options. I have concerns about the development of non wdw dvc ( Auluani) because I find it hard to believe people will buy dvc to go to places other than wdw. Especially hawaii. More members booking the harder to get resorts. Maybe my logic is backwards. Reminds me of Saratoga Springs.

Ditto...I share the same concerns... And Saratoga is my longstanding gripe.

It seems as though they maybe have accepted the reality that all future DVC must be "prime" locations.

I don't think we'll see another Saratoga. DVC is ultimately for WDW...no matter how they spin it, they have to have a big draw in view outside of the windows

I wish this would be true! I doubt it would happen anytime soon but maybe in ten years or so! I love the water parks but I would prefer a third or for RC to open up again but it won't most likely.

Every post I read about Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach mentions how packed they get during warmer months. Is there a chance Disney would ever consider adding another water park, or even just expand the existing ones?

IMO. Resorts will have better/faster/newer pools/lazy rivers/slides/splash areas. It is everywhere else. Peeps pick resorts due to pools which is cheaper than a new wp, and makes them more $$.

I don't see new wp, only updates pools at del resorts

I doubt there will be any major changes to the marketplace which necessitate a 50% growth in waterpark capacity even in 10 years.

If the time comes that more space is needed, it's far more economical to expand the current facilities.

I hope this is the case, and I am very happy to have paid the 2003 prices rather than the 2013!
