Will characters sign casts?

DD6 broke her arm 3 days into summer vacation, so she'll be in a short cast during our trip.

Will characters sign casts? If so, I'll need to buy a black sharpie...

We were at Disney World at the beginning of June and I saw one of the princesses in Epcot sign a child's cast...I thought what a great memory!!

Yes! We have a cast covered in Disney autographs from when my DD broke her arm. It was the waterproof variety, so when they cut it off, we were able to keep it. It's a great souvenir and one good thing to come from a bad accident!

My daughter wears braces on her feet at night and at home and we had all of the characters sign her braces for her. Now instead of complaining, she wants to put them on so that she can look at the character autographs!

Besides the people posting here reporting about getting casts signed, this is a question that comes up pretty often and the question is always , they do.
Depending on the color of the cast, you might want to get some Sharpies in colors other than black, just to spice it up a little. Also, the CMs in World Showcase will sign things with a little message in their native language. While no one has ever posted that those. CMs sign casts, I think they would if you asked (just in case you are going to Epcot with a little oldr child). You will also find characters there in their native country throughout the day - like Belle & Beast in France.
