Will called me this Morning! Trying Again!

I just had to share this with the UK Community Board.

We've recently moved to Prince William County, Virginia. This morning, while making my DS breakfast, I received a call from a county office. This is what showed up on the caller ID. DH exclaimed, "I didn't know you knew him!"

Would somebody please let me know if this is coming through now? I can see it with my browser, but I don't think that means much.

Do you guys not have caller ID? I can't live without it. Keeps me from having to talk to my mother-in-law when I'm not up to dealing with her.

It says something scary about a "forbidden server"!!

We can get caller ID here but i think you either need a special display phone which most people don't have, or you can buy a separate "caller display" thing that plugs into your existing phone....and I THINK that British Telecom also charge you extra for the facility...so a lot of people don't bother....

I'd love to have it- then whenever the phone rings during Coronation Street I can ignore it if it's someone who's going to keep me chatting through the entire programme!!

I can also see it. Must say I couldn't live without caller display - it means I never have to talk to my MIL on the phone and also if it is number withheld (normally people selling things) we never pick it up.

Wow, mixing with Royalty! LOL!!

I too have Caller Display, it is great for me, being partially deaf, as I only pick up the 'phone if I recognise the number and know I will hear them OK. In the past I got sick and tired of picking it up and telling people to ring back later for DH to speak to them, it is definitely worth the extra payment every month in my case!
