My friend called me today to ask me if she can pick up the tickets they ordered at the International Gateway. They are staying at the Beach Club and when the FIL bought the tickets he was told to pick them up at the ticket window at Epcot.

I know there is a ticket window outside the gates but we've never had will call tickets so I don't know for sure. I can't imagine they would make someone take a taxi to the front of Epcot but I'd like to give a definate answer since the FIL has a heart problem and minimal walking is a must.

Thanks!!

What KIND of tickets did they "order" that need to be "picked up"?

If you order any tickets online or on the phone you have the choice of having them mailed or you can pick them up when you get there at the ticket window. I've done the "will call" for MVMCP tickets.

Then these "tickets" do not really "exist" (as such) until you show up to claim them (they are not actually "waiting in an envelope" like "real" will-call tickets would be).

Since the ordering and purchaser info for the tickets is in the central computer, the tickets can be "created" (printed) and handed to the guest(s) at any theme-park Guest Services window.
Then, at first use, the computer will "memorize" the finger-scan info for the new user(s).

The window at the Int'l Gateway should be just fine for this.

yes there is a guest services at the IG...

just like the main entrance only much, much smaller - plus the restrooms are closer.... :thumbsup2

if he has problems walking I would suggest getting a wheelchair from the resort - if he wants an scooter then get an outside service to bring one to the hotel..

if you want more information go ask on the disability board.

This is what I copied from the Disney Website, since there is a ticket sales booth right there, I'm sure that he can get them there.

Will Call orders are only available at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida, and tickets can be picked up starting the day after your order. Upon arrival. pick up your Will Call ticket order at one of the following ticket sales locations: Epcot®, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney-MGM Studios, or the Ticket and Transportation Center at Magic Kingdom® Park. Please present your confirmation along with a valid photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport, or military I.D.), at any ticket sales location.

Thank you everyone.!

Despite what the web site says, will call tickets can indeed be picked up at any Guest Relations location at the theme parks or DTD. The ticket booth at the IG is actually run by Guest Relations and can do all of the things that any other GR can.

In addition, all will call tickets except AP/PAP/SP's can also be picked up at the resort Concierge desk at your Disney resort.
