Will Call Tickets and Magic Bands

I have four annual passes that will be at Will Call, how do I link those to our magic bands before the trip to take advantage of Fastpass +. All I have is a confirmation number.

I am assuming that you have made an onsite accommodation booking - cause that is what kickstarts the magic band allocation process. Only on property resort guests are getting the bands.
Set up your My Disney Experience account and add the ticket numbers into your profiles.

Yes I do have onsite reservation, but I do not have ticket numbers, they are at will call, do the numbers needed to be added to use fastpass +, make our choices in advance?

I have a will call on my AP renewal - they gave me the receipt number which I was able to put into MDE and now my MDE is automagically showing my magic bands and my AP card in the "Magic Bands and Cards" section of MDE.

Set up your MDE - it all autofilled perfectly for me.

Does anyone know if we still need to pick up our tickets at Will Call once we have linked our tickets to our Magic Bands?

I purchased my AP via phone so I'd have a ticket number to link to MDE (very easy by the way) and be able to book FPs. The CM on the phone recommended that I be sure to pick up my hard copy ticket at Will Call so I'd have a backup in case there were any glitches with my MB. So I did. Thankfully I had no issues with my MB at all, but I was still glad to have my backup ticket just in case.

Regular MYW tickets do not need to be picked up, once they have been linked to your MDE profile.

However, AP's do need to be picked up.

It is not just for "back-up" that guests need their AP tickets in addition to their MagicBands.
The various AP "perks" (like meal and merchandise discounts and free parking)
are currently accessed by using the AP ticket, itself.

Thanks, these were bought in 2012 so hope there is no problem....another ? My daughter is now 10 (8 when I bought them), so she would need to be upgraded to adult. I'm wondering if that is going to create a problem

You will need to upgrade your daughters ticket to adult.

If these tickets have never been used, this will cost the difference between what you paid for the child ticket on the earlier trip and what an adult ticket costs now.

You can link the old ticket to make F+ reservations, which will transfer to her adult ticket when you do the upgrade.

I recently purchased a seasonal pass, and it's showing under "Tickets and Passes", but not under "MagicBands and Cards". Is it still linked properly? (I also booked a hotel stay BEFORE I bought the pass, so I'll be getting a second MB...not sure if that has anything to do with it)

Last ?, so once I connect these DVC AP passes, they are not active until the day we first use them correct?

The CM on the phone only mentioned the back-up aspect; nothing about needing the actual card for the perks. So this is good to know! Thanks, Robo. :)
