"Will Call" Ticket Purchase

I am not familiar with this feature. Could someone explain this method of purchase.

Are the tickets paid for in advance or are you allowed to pay upon arrival at the resort?

If you pay in advance, you will give your confirmation number and the ticket will be printed out for you, provided that you bring photo ID. If you do not pay in advance, you will have to pay before the ticket will be printed out.
Either way, have your confirmation # and photo ID.

Steve, tks for your reply. We currently have "Room-Only" ressies and have not purchased tickets as of yet.

We would like to be able to take advantage of the "Advance Purchase" savings by purchasing them in advance but was wondering if i could order them on "WILL CALL" at the advance purchase price and just pay for them upon arrival at the resort?

Actually, now that I think about it, the only times that I have seen guests pay when picking up their will-call order is if there was an error in processing the payment. In that case, yes the APS price is what is payed, but I don't believe you can arrange to pay APS rates when paying in person otherwise. Sorry for any confusion.

The tickets cannot be picked up at the resorts. They must be picked up at a Guest Relations location. It's another one of Disney's quirks like not selling AP's at the resorts. You can't pick up will call tickets there either.

We had a problem at "will call" when we tried to pick up our MVMCP tickets this past December. They could not locate our confirmation # or our name in their system. Turns out the CM who sold us the tickets over the phone missed one letter in our last name, resulting in a lovely 1 hour wait for us at the ticket window while they tried to figure it all out.
I am sure hundreds of people have used "will call" with no problem....as for me....NEVER AGAIN!!!
