Will BWV studio be hard to book at 7 month mark?

I have a friend who is going to make a ressie for me for the first week of May 2005(5/1-5/5/05). Right now she has only points available at BCV as her 2005 BWV points are not available yet. I could have her book a BCV studio now, but I'd really like to stay again at the BWV. How likely is it that I won't be able to get a BWV studio(I know, I know it'll be a preferred studio!)for that first week in May by waiting until the 7 month mark?

got one with no problem thast year for june (pool view), this year for july (boardwalk view).

First, the only reason I can think of that BWV points would not be available now for that time but would be later is if the friend is in the middle of buying a resale. Otherwise, if they will be able to be used for the time you need, they can be used now. As to the more specific of your question, book BCV now and try to change over at 7 months for BWV. If it's not available, wait list for the entire stay at one time. Good luck.

The first week of May is not a difficult time to book. Unless you are counting on getting either a standard view or a guaranteed Boardwalk view, there should not be a problem getting a studio for that time at 7 months.

You may even be able to get a standard or Boardwalk view, especially if you are willing to use the waitlist.

If it were me (I like to be very sure of having a place to stay so I feel better about booking airfare in advance), I'd ask my friend to book BCV for now and then switch to BWv at the 7 month mark.

I just want to say the famous-"you never know", and as an example, this is what happened to me: I wanted a BWV studio, standard view, no less, for the popular early December. We don't own there, so couldn't book til 7 months out. But I called at 10 1/2 months, got a nice CM, who was willing to tell me that they were already booked. So when I did call at 7 months, my first comment was "I want to be put on the waiting list for a standard view studio at BWV for 12/6." Surprisingly, they had one available at that point. So you never know!
