hi... I am not a teen, but a mom of 2 unhappy ones. We are going from 7/29-8/3 & staying at the Poly. They are complaining that they will have no one to hang out with......almost 13 yr girl & 14 yr boy (and 8 yr girl, who is very happy to be going just to see eeyore)

Mickey fan.
I am also 14 y/o. Maybe to get your kids excited you could get a free vacation movie from Disney. Then they could see all of the different things there is to do at WDW. If they like thrill rides there are plenty such as Test Track, Tower of Terror, Space Mountian, Rock n roller coaster and many more! If they do not like thrill rides there are rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Hunted Mantion, Buzz lightyear, Jungle cruise and many many more!! If they are willing to go on "kiddie" rides, Pooh , Peter Pan, The Teacups, Small World ect. are very fun and I still enjoy them. A great time to ride those is during a parade because all of the kids are watching the parade. I am sure your teens will have a great time! If you have any more questions please feel free to ask! :)

They have the planner video & they have been there many times (we are season pass holders). I think part of the problem is they want friends with them...not just mom, dad & little sister. They hang out with each other, but I think they would like it if they had more than "each other". Thank you for your thought & maybe I will replay the video. I am thinking of buying them an annual pass to Disney Quest, anyone think that may help????

DQ would help...see if anyone on this board would like to meet up with them!!!

I see the point of wanting to have friends with them. I'm 15 and when I go I want to have friends with me, luckily I will when I go. But I think they'll have fun...meeting people. I mean, when I'm with my parents I feel tied down a little, but they let me do whatever. They'll usually let me go off with my sister or friend and walk around by themselves. Which makes us feel like we're more independent...it's sad but true :D.
