We will be at BWV on May 16th. I was wondering do I still have to call or can I go down to the front desk and ask them. Everytime I have asked them to look something up for me when I am there, they get right through.

You can have the resort operator connect you directly to MS right from your room - but you will still need to call. They can also connect you at the front desk.

I've made reservations (for a SV for Food & Wne time at the BWV on a day by day basis) while at the BWV. I just called the resort operator from the room one or 2 minutes before 9 and got right through. I think the resort operators must have some "special lines" to MS that are "favored" by the queue. When I tried with my cell phone (called both the 800 number and the 407 number) from a WDW restuarant, it took longer to get through. Calling from the room was quick and easy!

What resort, what type/size unit and what December - January dates are you trying to book? If your dates include NYE or any time in December or the school holiday periods, you would be wise to call day by day. If you don't, you could very well have to waitlist or move between resorts. We can give more specific advice if we know the details.

I think New Years Eve is the busiest booking night for MS, I would call day by day for that AKV December/January ressie.

When you call on May 16th, you will be within the 11-month window for the entire trip so you only have to make one call! Enjoy it, because it's the last time you'll have that luxury!
