Am going at the end of April. Am in the Toronto area. If anyone interested in sharing Parkhoppers (will pay), let me know. I do not have 7-days available for WDW (2 adults, 2 children).

Thanks,

How many days do you have in WDW? Last April we bought the CDN 7 DHP deal with 4 options. We went to the beach for 2 days, then to WDW for 7 nights so we had to use all 7 days and we used 3 options. It was great coming and going when we like. Even if you have 6 WDW days, the CDN deal is worth it. S

We have 7 days, we are going to USF, plan on shopping and having downtime too. Biggest mistake is dragging spouse where she does not want to go. Cranky kids are fine, spouse is not (LOL). Also more then a week off school too much for kids I think.

Trust me, I wish I had 2-weeks or 10 days..... Have commented in other threads that WDW has a very calculated reason for offering 7-day passes.... They know that cuts in to USF and SW and marries travellers to Disney. I personally think it is underhanded.

Still upset at last trip and spending $150-180 (US) on Hoop-de-doo (LOL).

I hear you about the Disney monopoly ~ but I think it's just good business on their part ~ if it were underhanded they would only have 7 DHP and nothing else. We all have options like different hopper passes or one day passes or AP's or not to go at all. I got down on Disney a few months ago too. We had such a great time last year, but spent $7000 which sadly was our budget. I thought "This is so great we just have to go every year!". So we planned our April 2002 trip, another $7000 CDN ~ YIKES! As we were planning, I felt like this was a familiar trip, still magic, but we don't want WDW to be a *regular* event, we want it to stay special, so we decided after this April trip to wait 2 or 3 years before driving down and staying in 2 or 3 WDW resorts, do the beach, USF and maybe SW ~ we will likely get an AP and go again 11 months later. Boy, I get off track! SO! Let me get back to *down on WDW Sandra*. As I was planning April WDW trip, I started thinking about Summer 2002 trip. Since we had a great time using season's passes at Paramount Canada's Wonderland last year, we thought we'd drive to Cincinnati and use the passes FREE at their Paramount park! WELL! I started budgeting and I was FLOORED! I quickly found out that a great vacation doesn't have to cost $7000.00! We are do 4 nights at Paramount Kings Island, 4 days at the park and water park, indoor pool at the hotel which also has continental breakky, meals and souveniers for about $1000 CDN! Now it's not a Disney trip, but I am looking forward to it very much. We started looking into other destinations too. I was down on Disney, getting to resent it. I got over it and the magic is back! BUT I am still looking forward to a Disney break and can't wait to travel to NEW places!

What about buying regular 7DHP+4options and using 3 park days and 2 options at WDW. Then you have 4 park days and 2 more options for another trip in years to come! That was one of our options, but we picked the discounted tickets again this year, we are staying 10 nights at CSR, so we plan to use all the park days and options, this is a total DISNEY trip on purpose. We've done USF couple times and SW years ago. I've done the ocean over and over, so DISNEY is getting us for 10 nights this year! GOOD LUCK! Sandra
