Will AP codes go away?

I was wondering if they will eventually phase out AP room only discount codes now that the best rate program is starting?

Just my opinion, but I don't believe so. I do, however, feel that once the regular call in type AP discounts are released, we will find that there will not be much available. The best rate program, bascially is going to be a system were you have first choice at getting the room type/and resort you want by putting up the deposit. It think the prices will be the same. So for those folks who continue to book a rack rate room, will find that the discount can not be applied because there are no discounts left for the room they are holding. If you are flexible and not picky, I think there will still be discounted rooms to be found....mostly at the All Stars. I think if you want a specific room at at discount--standard WL for one, you WILL need to book through the best rate program.

I see... Well for the most part we will now be going off season now and we like the AKL the best. I would think that would still be safe, but only time will tell.
