My sister’s honeymoon just got cancelled. So would like to book Disney now but can’t. Anyone know if it’s off limits for the rest of the year? I thought reservations opened up on the 28th. But was that just for 2021?

DVC can book for the fall of 2020. But 1/ availability is limited and 2/ there’s risk involved, including lack of flexibility vs a cash booking with Disney.

No one knows right now. The current spikes in Florida just add even more uncertainty to the mix.

The 28th was just for 2021 tickets (2021 resort reservations were available starting the 24th?). WDW has indicated "at a later date" for 2020 bookings - presumably after crunching the numbers and figuring out how many more guests they can accommodate and whether the park capacity will be allowed to increase.

Not off limits for the rest of 2020 but Disney is still working on existing reservations that have been impacted by the reduction in resorts that are scheduled to reopen. Just keep watching...

Yes you can make new reservations for 2021 now and that would include the purchase of tickets.

Also as of this morning "Select Guests" can begin to make ADRs up to 60 days early (replacing the 180 day window)

(Select Guests) - Eligible Guests with Dining Reservations Cancelled During the Closure

If you had an active dining reservation between May 28 and September 2, 2020 that was cancelled due to the temporary closure of Walt Disney World Resort you may—beginning on June 30—make a new reservation online up to 60 days in advance of your arrival.
