Will any Star Spangled Pins be left late in the Day?

We are due to arrive in Orlando mid day on the 29th? Assuming we land on time, pick up the car, quick snack stop for just water and chips and then get to the hotel All Stars by 4 pm, I'm assuming we can be over to the Contemporary by 4:30 5 pm.

I didn't bother doing a pre-order becauseI knew they only held the pins till 3 pm or so. I didn't want to take a chance and paying and then not getting them. So, is it even worth my time to go over to see what's left or is it just a waste of my time.

This is from the event information and reminders newsletter I received from Disney about the SSE --

If any limited edition pins remain, they will go on sale to wrist banded guests only in BVG on the 4th floor at 10:00 AM. The limited edition pins will be available to the general public after 2:00 PM in BVG.

I get the feeling this event is going to be highly attended, but by exactly how many is anyone's guess. The LEs are 1500 and the AC pin is 3500. If there are 750 attendees and every guest gets 2 of each pin, that wipes out the LE 1500 pins and leaves 2000 of the AC.

All of the "Walt With" pins from previous events have been LE 1000. If that's any gauge, then there could be that many people attending.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to come by, check things out, and see what might be available.

I just returned from the event. I don't think there will be many available. The Mickey & Minnie United pin was defective and many people were returning theirs for exchange (myself included). I believe the only extra pins were the Artist Choice pin as the event did sell out.

I'm sure you'll hear more from the Boa Brigade - they were there in full force.

Lisa, thanks for the report on the Star Spangled event. How badly were the Mickey/Minnie set defective? Do you know if Disney was going to replace them for guests? Thanks!

I had to Return one of my Mickey & Minnie Light-up/Musical United pin too, as the Light-up one had a bad Light that did not work. They gave out a Receipt for returning it, They said they would ship another pin to me.
