i finally have a birthday twin!

OK fellow US/IoA planners...when to make reservations to eat? Is it 30 days? 60?

you can reserve at that site or you can stop in at city walk kiosk and make ressies there for the park and city walk.


i have only made advanced ressies for Finnegans during HHN nights.

i usually make my ressies the day of or the day before at City Walk kiosk.
95% of the time, i don't do ressies but go to the restaurant when i decide it's time to eat.

if you are going during a crowded time period, wouldn't hurt to make a ressie the month prior..

I feel lost with the restaurants. I want to do the Kitchen! My family tends to be picky eaters, so sometimes going offsite for takeout is easier. In the interest of relaxing..I'd like to try onsite a little more. Since we are a party of 7 I feel better with reservations I was going to book a character breakfast but the reviews aren't great. We went to one at Confisco grille 2 years ago and had an excellent time. Decisions, right?

Hi Pas and everyone else!!

Just checking in to see if our Pas has made any changes and added a Disney night to go with the Disney birthday day...

Since I know she's working now (but this hasn't prevented her in the past from cha-cha-changing her plans ) we probably won't "see" our Pas on the DIS until tonight....

Good morning all!! Was busy working and then got sick...blah. Okay..soooo I may have concocted a plan to completely revamp our summer trip back to wdw. No changes as of yet.....but I am headed down next month just hubster and I. My primary goal...see if he will let me book a bounceback. The girls are in...whether I can manage a split stay. Stay tuned my friends....

My bad Sheila....We had a nice $400 plumbing issue over the weekend so instead of "sweating" it out and picking up more hours at work Brian and I chose to switch to a value...since I was paid in full..I am getting about $220 back...that's a lot of "snacks and slushies at Epcot"

Pas, that was a great decision! And yes, $220 is a LOT of snack and slushes!! Sorry about the plumbing issues...it always hurts to get these unexpected expenses.. (on the upside, it was good it happened now, not when you returned from the trip..)

Thank you all for hopping on my PTR...in true changing fashion...I've cancelled HRH and booked the Grand Floridian...next summer for Universal Same dates so maybe a DIS meet will still work!!

Wow, I miss two weeks on the boards and I end up missing a lot! I love the Grand Floridian! My family stayed there on a trip when I was a kid. I hope you enjoy it!
