Will a Minnie Van deliver your luggage without you?

Scenario: We arrive about 11:30am and our friends will already be in HS. We would like to pay the, very high, cost of a Minnie Van to take us directly to HS to meet them. Can the MV driver take our luggage to our hotel after dropping us off first?

Save yourself $125 and take Uber to your resort, drop your stuff off and then go to the park
Or, just take Uber to the park if you are that comfortable packing that lightly on the plane.
And pray mightily that your bags make your flight with you. Since you aren't bringing anything spare on the plane

I would suggest shipping your big bags ahead of time to your hotel using a luggage delivery service. Then when you get to MCO you can get off the plane and head to a Minnie Van or Uber and go directly to DHS without worrying about waiting for your luggage or getting it to the hotel.

Cool, that is good info, thanks. I was always under the impression that it was a no-no to send your luggage on the DME without going yourself.

This is an interesting concept that I've not seen discussed. Is there any specific luggage delivery service that anyone has used at WDW? I've never used one. Never even heard of something like that, actually.

We have used Luggagefree in the past. We used to do that a lot when our kids were younger and we had to deal with strollers going through the airport. If you Google "ship luggage" there are quite a few companies doing this now.

I would be sure you have at least 2 checked bags in case the airline misses one bag and it does not make it on the same plane. have stuff for everyone in each checked bag. and I assume you do not have any young ones that could need or cause others to need change of clothes
