Will a Captain Jack Sparrow look-alike be a new character to meet at WDW???

I hope that they have someone dress up like Captain Jack Sparrow for autographs and photos at WDW!
Wouldn't it be cool with the new Pirates Rehab????

Does anyone know if this is going to be happening??? I sure hope so!!!!

I haven't seen either of the POTC movies BUT if Sparrow is the Johnny Depp character, I'd be willing to wait in that line for HOURS!!!!!!!!! As long as they make him as cute as the movie version

Oh, no! I hope they don't do that! If they do, my dear step-daughter will attach herself to him and then they'll have to call the police to physically pry her off of him and then she'll be taken to jail. That would certainly put a damper on our vacation.

I've read other posts that there is a Cap'n Jack (looked good from the picture) that does a "Pirate Training"; however, he does NOT do individual pictures or autographs. You just have to take his pic during the show.

A pirate does not pose for pictures or signs autographs.......
He only does the Pirate Training so he can find a few good pirates to join him on a voyage to sack the spanish main.

They'd definitely need extra handlers for Mom-control.

I am sure Captain Hook would get jealous of Captain Jack's popularity anyway, because if both of the pirates were out for meet and greets, Captain Jack's line would be waaaayyyyy longer (and probably consist of more beautiful women)

well.... I guess I can hope that Disney will change their mind and try this anyway.... we shall see.....

they don't do the meet and greets for the simple reason for the performers safty. And reading these posts I understand why.

Is the Jack character a good impersonation of the "real" Jack? The character is soooo good, I'd hate to see him poorly done.

We saw the first ever pirate tutorial Friday morning. Jack was looking good! He didn't stick around for a meet and greet. It's about a 15 minute show with some kid participants (my daughter) and group singing of "A Pirate's Life for Me."
