We are staying at Pop Century Resort and planning on taking our pnp for our 1 year old. I was looking at photos of the rooms though and I can't figure out where we'd be able to fit it. I understand they provide pnp's so I know they are able to fit in the rooms but I can't really see where we'd put it. I'm also a little concerned ours might be a little big (it is a little bigger than most pnp's) and there'd just be no room for it. Anyone had any experience using one while staying there? What was the best spot for it? If you used the one provided by the resort, what are the dimensions for the ones the resort provides?

We used the pnp the hotel provided, and it was fine... We put it to the right of the TV, just up against the divider curtain to the sinks. I have a picture of it, but I'm on my phone and can't figure out how to post it.

Why are you bringing your own?

We stayed at Poly but I'm guessing they are the same PnP's :) Our daughter was fine at 1 year 1 month and she was in the 97th percentile for height and weight. We kept the PnP in the bathroom (I know that's weird but at least it kept her separated when she went to bed early :) Good luck and have fun!

I've been to several resorts and always used their pnp's. The staff sets it up for you and always make it fit. You can call the resort for questions or browse for pics that others have taken - I have found this to be helpful for other resort questions. Search in google "images" or the videos that people take of their rooms.

I think that resort pnp's save space in your car/luggage and it's convenient ! Ready and waiting upon arrival when you need to put the baby down and get settled in and you don't have to set up/close it up - this helps when you're in a hurry.

Good luck & Safe travels!

We always use the resort pnps too. Haven't stayed at Pop but at the All Stars we always end up putting it between the two beds.

We used our own pnp at Pop last year. We had to move the table to make room for the pnp, and we had to keep the stroller in the car. It was a tight squeeze but doable with some creativity.

I have the same question since we will be going with a 2 month old. I couldn't find any pics with pnp at the pop though. I thought maybe if you move the table and 2 chairs over it might fit next to the tv? We will have 2 strollers too since we have a toddler too. I'm a little nervous we might not have enough room for everything!

As a side note, we have used the pnp disney provides before but bring our own sheets. It is pretty convenient. But we stayed at a moderate back then so we had more room for everything.

Thank you all for your replies!

The only reason we're bringing our own is because we're driving and, as of right now, planning on splitting our drive into 2 days, so we'll need somewhere for her to sleep in at the hotel we're staying at on the way there and back. Our other two girls will be sharing a bed already and I thought about having her sleep with dh and I, but that makes dh very nervous since he tends to move around a lot and kicks in his sleep :rolleyes2

At pop we put the pnp between the bed and the bathroom wall. Sandwiched it in but that way the little isle between the beds was not taken.

The resorts use graco standard size pack n plays. Just the plain basic model. One will easily fit in a value room. We have twin boys and have fit 2 pack n plays with all of our gear including a double stroller in a value room (and we have done two full size cribs in a value room as well).

There is plenty of room between the bed and the window/door area and also between the beds, by the connecting room door, and you can move the table and chairs a bit as well and put it towards that corner area. Lots of places to put it.

This is what I was thinking. You could put the pnp between the two beds :thumbsup2

You will probably have to fold up one (or both) of the strollers. One fit okay, two would be really tight.

We have just always used the PnP and sheet provided by Disney. I would also see if your other hotels have cribs or PnPs available. Most hotels do. I have never brought my own with me on a trip, except when we camped.

Hey - I just re-found this post!! Here's a picture of where our PNP was...

As I said before, it's between the TV and the separation curtain for the bathroom sink.

(This was about 2 years ago, so I don't know if they've redone the rooms with new furniture, but I don't think they have.)
