Wildlife sightings

On our last trip in April, I saw a raccoon over by the cabins. I think it's the first live raccoon I've ever seen outside of a zoo or road kill. He was a cute little guy. I wish I'd had my camera.

I forgot We saw late many nights Bats at the cabin area

While kayaking today we saw a gator under the foot bridge at the meadows. It submerged, and I prodded it with my paddle but it wouldn't resurface. Oddly my 4 yr old girl was more worried about the dragonflies.
