We are driving from the Nashville TN area to WDW on Friday... will we have any wildfires to worry about?

No you shouldn't. Most wildfires are further south

I beg to differ .. right now there are more fires north of orlando then south.
In recent weeks there have been numerous shutdowns of various highways in the greater Orlando area, especially between Orlando and I-95 altho this week has so far been relatively quiet ... living on the east side I don't pay a lot of attention to the I-75 corridor or the turnpike north of Orlando but today's map shows plenty of activity over there ....
