I am wondering if anyone who has gotten a Manager's Special for an upgrade to Concierge had used a travel agent for their ressie?

I was offered a Manager's upgrade two years ago for a minimal amount and was not using a travel agent. So am wondering if I choose to transfer my ressie if I will not be offered this upgrade. I realize that there is no guarantee, but am wondering if my odds are lessened with a travel agent booking.

And nothing against travel agents, by the way, but would love to upgrade again for less than $40 a night.

Thanks in advance.

We booked our own trip in May 2003 at WL and when we arrived they asked us if we wanted to upgrade to concierge for 50.00 more a night. It was worth the 50.00 dollars.
You could always ask when you arrive if they have any upgrades to concierge and how much would it be.

Good Luck!

we could have upgraded at the poly during easter for $80 more but they only had a garden view, if it were lagoon or only $50 i would have done it !

We upgraded to concierge at check in at WL for about $40 more a day. It was totally worth it.

Can't remember the last time I heard someone say they got a Manager's Special ---- thought maybe that was something from the past.
