Any new information on the Wilderness Pool yet. Is it open, whats the new configuration, any pictures?

It is open its 3 feet on the wall and 4 feet at the drain no more deep end

Thanks for the info, sorry to see that its true that they made it shallow, any other changes to the layout or decor.

They just gave it a fresh paint job and new patio furniture. The funny thing is they just updated this pool 2 years ago

The Wilderness Swimmin' Pool at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground will be going down for a refurbishment from March 14 2011 to April 22 2011.
The Meadow Swimmin' Pool and slide will remain open during the refurbishment.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will reopen to all Guests on Wednesday, September 29 at 12 noon. Guests of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground were temporarily re-located to other Walt Disney World Resort properties on Saturday, September 25 due to weather.

So, 5 weeks closure, I bet it took longer. Anyone know how long ?

This sounds like what they did for the 2004 hurricane. Disney hasn't closed the Fort sinces then.

Let me add the pool refurbishment didn't start until sometime in April and the pool reopened mid June.
