Wilderness or Beach Club?

We're trying to decide on adding onto WLV or waiting for YBC. I assume you can walk from the YBC to BWV around the lake. Does anyone know how long it takes or how far it is? Might be kind of convenient.

hi: depending on how fast your pace is, it only takes 5-10 min. to walk from bwv over to the yc/bc. when my knee was acting up or when i overate at beaches and cream or the cape may cafe,it did take about 15 min.

It should be less than a 15 min walk from YBC to BW. It is very convenient to walk to Epcot and MGM. We stayed at BWV and walked to YC BC daily.
We visited WLV this week and it is beautiful but I felt very isolated there. It appeared great for young families, a lot to do right there, biking, swimming,boating etc. but not nearly as easy to get to the parks. We walked to Fort Wilderness and took the ferry to MK.
I am sure others have more experience to share.
(I keep saying "walking", I ride my ECV and my DH the walking enthusist walks)

Keep in mind that while it is probable that BCV will be added on to the current program it is not guaranteed until they actually announce that sales will start.

I asked a DVC rep at the BWV model about YBC sales and she quickly replied not before 2002! Also in my folder I got at check-in there was a small flap reminding you of the member updates at BWV and OKW and it also stated the add on were available at OKW. When I asked the rep at the model she said that was not true! I did not follow up on this. Does any one know if add ons are available at OKW?

there were no add-on points available directly from DVC for either OKW or BWV.
