Welcome to the boards, as you can tell by my post, I do more reading than posting. I just had to tell you about Room # 5023 . It has a woodsview and you can see the Magic Kingdom Castle in the distance . The view at night is breath taking. Also check out the otter pond just below the balcony. Very quiet area of the lodge.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts they have been alot of help.As far as the upgrade goes we will just take it if it comes if not oh well maybe next time. Things have been a little chaotic around here we just found out that my DH is being deployed. But he says keep the reservations and hopefully he might get leave for that week or something. If not I guess we will have an extra ticket because he said to go and take the kids. So here is hoping he gets leave.

The room you describe sounds wonderful. by any chance was it a queen/bunk bed room??

As far as the beds go, their were two Queen size beds. I asked my son and he told me that no bunk bed was in there. I'm not real sure about this, but I thought all deluxe resorts had queen size beds , excluding the rooms that have kings. You would have to call about the bunk bed question, unless someone on the boards has had the use of one at WL.
