Wilderness Lodge Views

We will be taking a trip to Disney in early December, and I have 2 questions:

1. Which view is better - woods or courtyard?
2. Which view is the best to see the fireworks from MK?

I've stayed in both. Woods view in room #4082, and courtyard view in room #6159. From the woods view room, we didn't have much of a view. Just some trees. It was over Whispering Canyon Cafe, so we were in the main lobby area close to the elevators. The courtyard view room had a great view of the main courtyard. It was almost at the end of the south wing. It was great for people watching. Next time, I'll go for the courtyard view again, because it put us in the middle of all the action. Be warned, though, some of the courtyard view rooms in the south wing actually face the villas. Not much going on towards that way.
