Wilderness Lodge tours/activities

I'm in the planning stages for a trip in October, hopefully staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I've been there before, but was unaware of the various tours/activities there. Can anyone describe the 2 tours of the Lodge (one is about the architecture, the other about the restaurants), in terms of time length, what you got to see, etc. ? There was also mention of the Ladybug release, and a Discovery Island Animal show. Any info about those? I know Discovery Island has been closed for quite awhile, so maybe this show has been discontinued. Thanks to all for all the great info!!

They only do one tour at this time. They stopped the restaurant tour about a year ago. The lodge tour is at 9:00 am on Wed.-Sat. at the present time. It lasts about 45 minutes. We also did it 2 years ago and it was 90 minutes long then. You are told about the architecture and some of the meanings of the designs found in the lobby. It is an enjoyable tour. If Ranger Stan is the tourguide, definitely go. He is wonderful. I'm sure the others are wonderful, but I've only gone on the tour with Ranger Stan. I can't tell you about the planned activities. I don't think there is anything at Discovery Island now.
