Wilderness Lodge Rules!!

Just wanted to let you all know that we just returned from WDW and my family had the time of their lives! It was my family's first tip to WDW, and we have memories to last a lifetime. We are already looking to go back!

THe Wilderness Lodge was fantastic! The boat ride to MK was SO convenient! I felt it really added to the expereince rather than taking a bus everywhere else!

We also did the Halloween PArty and let me tell you the fireworks show was great, since it was totally new just for the party.

Thanks to all on this board that answered my numerous questions prior to the trip, you were all a great help!!

Glad you had a great trip!! We did too! We love the Wilderness Lodge also, never had major issues with boat transport. either. The Halloween party was the best wasn't it?? Glad you had fun!

We're leaving in 18 days for our third trip to WL. We love the boat, it's so relaxing and we think it's better than a bus.

I hope that you guys staying at the WL will have as great an experience as I did. It seemed to have so much MORE charecter and charm than some of the other places I visited (i.e Contemporary). I went to AKL (to eat at Boma, which was GREAT!) and that was very nice as well, but seemed to be too far off the beaten path...

Anyway, it's been decided that when go back, WL it is!

That brings back such great memories for me. WLV is a wonderful place. Heaven on Earth. Did you guys eat at Whispering Canyon? We had some great meals there

We just got back from there. It is a great place to stay. The only thing I disliked about it was transportation to the other parks beside MK stunk. For some reason last week AK and Epcot only got one bus for every 3 MK, Downtown Disney, and MGM bus. If you like the MK, then it is very close and great. Artist Point was my favorite meal during our trip.
