Hello, everyone! This is my first attempt to post a message here, so please let me know if I make any mistakes.
Hubby and I are planning to go to the Wilderness Lodge for the first time with my Mom and Dad next Saturday. I have been reading a lot of information over the internet recently and I am trying to figure out what rooms to ask for. I understand that the lodge has a U shape and that upper floor rooms on the bottom of the U are what I am probably looking for. I read earlier that there is one set of rooms with King beds that connect. Are these courtyard view? If so, does anyone know what room numbers they are? Alternatively, rooms with two queens that are connecting would be fine as well. Also, Mom has allergies, so a nonsmoking room is important. Any suggestions as to rooms that fit this criteria would be much appreciated.
Also, how should I request these rooms? Do I call reservations or the hotel? Should I ask for the specific room numbers or describe what I am looking for? What are the chances of actually getting these rooms? Am I asking for the impossible, here? I don't want to seem greedy, but on the other hand, if I don't ask, then how will the people know what it is that I would like to have?
Sorry to ask so many questions. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We are only in WDW for three days, so we really want to make the most of our time there.
It is amazing how much there is to learn and know before you go to Disney World!
You guys sure have lots of great information here. I don't know how I would manage without you. Thank you very much,
RaeD
