Wilderness Lodge question

We stayed at WL on our first Disney trip last November. It was truly amazing and we were VERY pleased with the rooms and hotel. No complaints at all.

We researched for a few months on the best places to stay. We read SO many reviews. EVERY resort we looked at had at least a few negatives reviews. Like another person posted, most people are going to write negative reviews instead of positive.

We loved Disney so much that we want to return at the end of this year, however we will have to cut costs and won't be able to afford WL. Two of our daughters are VERY upset because they loved the WL so much.

The Wilderness Lodge has the highest % of return guest of any resort on property. We love it because it is THE only place, for us, in all the World where we feel completely transformed out of central FL into someplace quiet and relaxing and peaceful.

Each of our stays has been perfect and perfectly clean. Thant being said, room rehabs will begin next month.

Sure would be nice if they replaced those hanging tin lights with something else...hated that light!!

We were at WL in Sept of 2010 and it was awesome...clean, friendly, great for kids and such a nice change of pace from the parks. NO NEGATIVE THINGS TO SAY!

Never stayed there before, but I am in September. To be honest- I appreciate you asking this question! I am a clean/ germaphobe freak! I think that for anyone to think this is a ridculous question, is silly. Hey- when you're paying around $300+ a night for a hotel room, it better be clean! Doing research before hand is great, everyone should simply answer, no need to be offended or snooty.

Asking how clean the resort rooms are is one thing. Asking if they are filthy is another. I don't think anyone would have minded the OP asking about the condition of the hotel rooms.

Values to Deluxe...we've never found a "filthy" room. WDW Mousekeeping has always impressed us! I have absolutely no reservations about any room on property; of course someone will always find a hair or something to complain about, but with the thousands of rooms Disney cares for I think they do an outstanding job. Find something else to worry about...your accomodations will be top notch!
