Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

I love the parasailing photos!!!!! I showed my son & he stated "I don't want to get eaten by alligators", too funny !!!!! I think he & I will have to stick with the Sea Raycer boats !!!!!!!

You need to tell your son they (alligators) don't eat as much in the winter months. Seriously you don't get dunked at WDW unless something goes wrong. They dunk you on the carribean (pre-planned and much warmer climate) tours often for the extra thrill and tip! Looking forward to trying this ourselves.

I tend to wake up early when I'm psyched up about something. I had a lot of lovely mornings tiptoeing out of the room while my family slept, with my refillable mug in one hand and my camera in the other. I was worried that some of the shots wouldn't come out very well since I didn't have my tripod, but at least a few were fine.

I've loved this thread for building my anticipation before our trip, and now it's great for reliving the great times we had at the WL.

Except I usually walk around at night with my mug. I do carry my tripod and my mug does not have coffee in it. Might explain some of my my more blurry pics.

Yes, with my luck, the "Seriously you don't get dunked at WDW unless something goes wrong", would be EXACTLY what happens. I think we will try the Dolphins in Depth excursion at Epcot in Dec 2009 for our "wild adventure". He is VERY excited about that !!!!!!

This one is my favorite. Too bad I just couldn't go there during the Christmas season. Oh well!

Hopefully, I can add some new pictures when I come back from WDW. I am schedule to leave 4 weeks from today. Disney also told me I can call WL 5 days before I leave to have my name on the list for the flag raising ceremony. Maybe I'll get to do it this time and have a few photo to show for it.

That is funny...I am thinking the same thing....we are just about to book 11/29/09-12/5/09..been waiting a whole year in between!!!!!!

Wow what great pics. We decided to go to WL at the end of August. We are looking forward to a great time. This will be our 2nd deluxe resort. WE stayed at AKL back in 2005.

Yes! I believe it was about 6:00AM. I loved getting up and exploring the hotel and taking pictures in the early morning. It was so peaceful and tranquil.

I especially love this one the way you got so many of my favorite elements of the lobby in it. The flag, the tree, the deer up above the door, lights, the chairs...just love the lodge!
