For great information about your stay at the Wilderness Lodge you should visit the FAQ Thread, the first page has loads of information and there is a post about all the room locations and views. Just click on the link below.

Thanks for the posting the pics Eliza61! From other threads it sounds like you had a great trip! Other than strollers. It's gone beyond a game for DH and I to avoid them - we always come back with bruises on our ankles and it's a look of fear on our faces when we see them bearing down on us!! :rotfl2:

You are making me soooo "home"sick. I can hardly wait to stay again in December. Maybe I will go by for a visit next month, to show Dcousin (9) where we are staying, since she has never stayed there before.

OK- I am only on page 6, so I still have a few more to go.

Does anyone know of a bunk bed room with a view of the castle? I know some rooms that have a view, but not sure if any of them have bunk beds

thanks!

We just returned and had a castle facing bunk bed room. It was room number 6016. We were able to watch wishes at night. It was truely amazing! It was a wooded view with a view of the castle right between two pine trees. I'll post pictures soon. I haven't had a chance to download onto the computer yet. I only took 860 pic. :scared1:

I can't wait to see some of the pics. Did you request that room, or just get the luck of the draw?

Hi DizneyNutz,

Glad you like the photos.

We first went in 2000, the following year we went to the AKL and realised we much preferred the WL. We liked it that much we've been every year since, we're heading back there in June this year, staying at the Villas at the WL. :goodvibes

I can't stay away from this thread! You guys are not doing me any favors - I told my husband to just tell me NO so I could quit thinking about moving to WL for free dining. It would be $913.50 more total for 7 nights for the woods bunk-bed room. That's a lot of money, but I keep telling myself how nice it would be have a queen bed for us, and bunk beds for the boys. How nice it would be to sit on the balcony after we put the boys to bed. How nice the boat to the MK would be, and we could take the boat to CR and monorail to Epcot if we wanted. I keep telling myself that it's not worth $900+ to get 30 more square feet.

My husband says if we upgrade to WL, we'd never want to stay at a lesser resort again. He's probably right. :(

I must quit checking this thread!

GO FOR IT!
We normally stay at a value and decided, you know what? Why not! We never do anything nice for us, always working and pay bills work and pay bills. This is a vacation and i want to FEEL like i am on vacation. I think the WL will take care of that for me! Life IS short....If you can do it...I say do it!

Thank you for the pictures of the Villas. We will be staying there 7/1-7/8.
