Wilderness Lodge or Port Orleans

We are hoping to go in November when my daughter is tracked out of year round school. She will be 5 and my son will be 2. I'd love opinions on which place we should stay at! Thanks!

We LOVE WL and it is a boat ride from the MK. How do the prices compair??

WL is the Wilderness Lodge.
Fort Wilderness (FW) is not the same place. It has cabins and camp grounds. A FW cabin would be great with small kids because they have a separate bedroom and living area.

Which one are you looking at?

We stayed in one room at WL the first time (we were actually booked at Port Orleans Riverside and I upgraded to WL), and it felt cramped/difficult to sleep with small kids (2 and 6 at the time). We love WL, but with small kids, it was not fun.

The second time, we stayed at All Star Music Family Suites. They are suites at the value resorts, so they are relatively inexpensive for a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living area (which is where the kids slept), and a kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge). I'd recommend these over WL with small kids. The buses were more efficient, too (we stayed around the same time of year both times).

Hmmm...not clear ir the OP means Wilderness LODGE or FORT Wilderness.

I've stayed at both WL and POFQ and that's a toughie.....loved them both!

With little ones, though, I'd say WL, for the relatively easy, and wonderfully pleasant, boatride to MK.

If the post was about FW, then I'd say go with POFQ.
