I recently booked for our honeymoon in October and a few days later I received a strange email from Nicole with the "Wilderness Lodge Itinerary Planning" department.

It seemed really informal to WDW Standards and I was confused, because I'd never received an email like that from any of my stays before - plus it mentions the Old Faithful Club, which I've...never actually heard of and don't know what it's referencing.

Have any of you gotten this from any other resorts? Is it legitimate?

Howdy!

Thank you for choosing The Old Faithful Club at Disney?s Wilderness
Lodge for your upcoming visit. On behalf of our entire team, we would
like to extend a warm welcome to our resort!

We have a team of itinerary planners who will work closely with you in
developing an itinerary that is personalized for your party. Many of
our restaurants, recreational activities, tours, and special events can
be booked 180 days from your date of your arrival. Our office has not
yet received any requests from your party. Please note that we may not
have record of any reservations not booked through our office.

If you have not already done so, we highly recommend that you visit
www.disneyworld.com to sign up for a My Disney Experience account and
link it to your resort reservation. This will keep you up-to-date with
the new MyMagic+ enhancements that we have coming in the near future!

We want to help you create a stay with us that is magical! If we can
assist you with anything for your vacation, please don't hesitate to
contact us. Our office is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST. We
look forward to hearing from you soon so that we may provide further
assistance.

Happy Trails,

Nicole

are you staying Club Level? Old Faithful is what they call their Club Level area.

We have stayed CL at other resorts before and they always send this email.

It is the name of the club level. You must be staying club level if you got an email from the planning office. Just like the Polynesian Club level is now called the King Kamehameha Club. Interestingly enough the Wilderness Lodge Planning office staff is located at the Polynesian and it the same as the IPO for the Polyensian Club level.

What PPs said. Some of the "informal" nature is to be in theme with the resort. "Howdy" "Happy Trails"

Thank you everybody!

I meant informal, as oddly as it sounds, in formatting. It was a very basic email, no HTML, no Images; just straight text (so it didn't seem like an auto-generated email). Not quite used to that coming from WDW!

Can anyone explain the difference between Club Level and standard? I selected what I did based on availability as opposed to preference.

Club level will be rooms with added amenities and access to a club level lounge for food and drink items.

Here is someone on here that reviewed club level and posted photos.
