I booked AKV (Home resort) at 11 month window but we really want to stay at WL Oct 18-25. Wondering if I will have any trouble getting a 1 bdrm at 7 month mark? Thanks!

Probably not - but of course, you should book online as soon as the 7 month window opens to have the best chance.

yeah, VWL is tough to book for december at 7 months but i've been hearing it's pretty do-able during the rest of the year. good luck.

I think you might have a pretty good chance for October, due to everyone wanting BCV and BWV for food and wine.

Try at exactly 7 months, you never know.

Actually since the opening of BLT even Christmas doesn't seem to be too hard there the last few years. I've done December trips in 2011 & 2012/2013 (This was over the Chrismas/NY week too) and got in without any issue at all. I didn't even call right at open (it was within the first 3 hours)

We did WL over Halloween week in 2013 with a 1brm and got in without any problems.

I think you'll be fine if you book very close or right at open. Anecdotally, there is even a little buffer room but I wouldn't count on that.

Booking online allows you to book an hour earlier.

I own at VWL so I just checked. There is at least one - 1 bedroom available as of now. Good luck!

We also own at VWL and I just booked a 1 bdrm three days ago for the same time period in Oct. OP is looking at. We're actually going for the F&WF but decided to stay at VWL since we haven't stayed there for a few years (even though it is our home and one of our favorites!) and we really want to see the new refurb.

At 7 months out for that time period in 2012 and 2013, the VWL 1BR was open.
