Wilderness Lodge in August?

So we have a package at Beach Club starting 8/14 but we are flying in on 8/13. So I need to book a room only reservation for 8/13. I was considering Wilderness Lodge. So my obvious question is about the construction. How far along will the construction be in August? Does anyone have any recent pics of the construction now? I assumed since it is focused mainly on the Villas side of the resort that the main building/lobby/ pool area shouldn't be affected much. Is that correct? Also since we are arriving early afternoon we will more than likely not go to a park. Just enjoy the resort and I was thinking of taking the boat over to the Contemporary and monorail around to all of the resorts and watch wishes from the Poly Beach. So we wouldn't spend a ton of time at the hotel other than swimming in the pool in the afternoon and having dinner at WCC. Then we are going to explore the monorail resorts. Will the construction take away from the overall experience of the resort? Wilderness Lodge has always been my dream resort but because of the construction and got a great rate at the Beach Club (we have only stayed at value before) we went with Beach Club. So I thought maybe this is the perfect time to experience the Wilderness Lodge since it is only for one night. What do you think?

Nobody other than the project manager will know the answer to that.

No, not just the Villas. Right now the entire South Wing is closed off. Tons of details and pictures in these 2 threads.

That depends on your personal tolerance of construction. My son and I, for example, are fascinated by it so to us it would actually be a plus.

From recent reports, the resort feels much less crowded with the removal of such a large number of rooms. So actually, this may be a great time to try it out. Especially if only for 1 night. How bad could it be?
